The city was established by Diler Khan and Bahadur Khan, sons of Dariya Khan. Diler khan and Bahadur khan had made an important place in the Mughal kingdom during the time of Shahjahan. Shahjahan gifted 14 villages to Diler khan with the permission of a fort construction. Diler Khan constructed the fort at Nainar Khera on the Bank of the river Garrah and Kannaut.
