सभ्यताः 10000 ईसापूर्व से 2000 ईसापूर्व

इजिप्शन संग्रहालय (Egyptian Museum) 1901 में बनाया गया था और इसमें लगभग 120,000 आइटम हैं, जिनमें से कुछ को स्टोररूम में रखा गया है।संग्रहालय में दुनिया के फैरोनिक (Pharaonic) पुरावशेषों का सबसे बड़ा संग्रह मौजूद है।2011 में मिस्र की क्रांति के दौरान इमारत को तोड़ा गया था,और दो डिस्प्ले ममी (Display mummies) खो गईं थी। इसके अलावा कई अन्य वस्तुएं भी खो गईं थी। कुछ चोरी हो गईं तो कुछ क्षतिग्रस्त,जिनमें से केवल कुछ को ही बहाल किया गया।संग्रहालय की गैलरी प्राचीन मिस्र की कुछ महत्वपूर्ण चीजों को उजागर करती है, जिनमें राजा तूतनखामुन का गोल्ड मास्क (Gold Mask), रामेसेस III (Ramesses III) की प्रिसनर टाइलें (Prisoner),हत्शेपसट (Hatshepsut) की एक मूर्ति और भी बहुत कुछ शामिल है। 3 अप्रैल 2021 को संग्रहालय की बाईस ममियों को फ़ुस्टैट (Fustat) में मिस्र की सभ्यता के राष्ट्रीय संग्रहालय (National Museum of Egyptian Civilization) में स्थानांतरित कर दिया गया था।यह फिरौन की गोल्डन परेड (Golden Parade) नामक एक भव्य परेड के साथ किया गया।
